1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit websites. We also use similar technologies such as the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage.
2. Who is the controller
The controller of data processed in connection with cookies is the TaskAura team, contact: hello@taskaura.app.
3. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the app to work (login session, CSRF protection, load balancing). They cannot be disabled in the app.
- Preferences — remember your selected language, theme (light/dark) and interface settings.
- Analytics — measure traffic and usage in an aggregated way; set only after you give consent.
- AI functional — related to AI features (e.g. temporary request identifiers); set only when you activate a feature.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are processed based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — ensuring the Service works) and Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act (information needed to provide the service). Analytics and marketing cookies are processed based on your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Retention
- Session cookies — deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies — up to 12 months unless you delete them earlier.
6. Third-party providers
Some cookies may be set by our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Cloudflare, Lovable) and — after you give consent — by analytics tool providers. The list may evolve as the Service develops.
7. Managing cookies
You can change cookie settings in your browser at any time — accept all, block selected categories, or delete already stored files. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the app from working correctly (e.g. sign-in). See your browser's documentation for instructions (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
8. Your rights
For personal data processed in connection with cookies you have all the rights described in the Privacy Policy (https://taskaura.app/privacy), including access, rectification, erasure, objection and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
9. Changes to the policy
Changes to the Cookie Policy are published on this page. We notify Users of material changes in the app or by email.
