Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
1. General provisions and definitions
These Terms set the rules for using the TaskAura app (the "Service"), available at https://taskaura.app. The provider is the TaskAura team, contact: hello@taskaura.app. "User" means a person using the Service, "Account" the individual profile in the app, "Content" the data entered by the User (tasks, notes, settings), "AI" features powered by language models.
2. Scope of the service and beta status
TaskAura is an app for task management, daily planning, focus work and an AI assistant (coach, prioritization, task breakdown). The Service is currently in public beta and provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors. Features may change.
3. Technical requirements
Using the Service requires a current web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge in their current version), an active internet connection and an email address or Google account for sign-up.
4. User account
Most features require an Account. The Service is available to users aged 16 and older. The User is responsible for keeping the password confidential and for all actions taken from their Account. Sharing the Account with third parties is not allowed.
5. Conclusion and term of the agreement
The agreement for the Service is concluded when you create an Account and accept these Terms, for an indefinite period. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your Account in the app Settings.
6. Payments
During public beta the Service is free of charge. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will inform users in advance and update these Terms. Introducing paid plans will not affect existing free Accounts without the User's explicit acceptance.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful activities or in a way that violates accepted standards.
- Do not try to bypass limits, security mechanisms or daily AI quotas.
- Do not use the Service in a way that places excessive load on the infrastructure (e.g. mass automated requests, scraping).
- Do not post or transmit content that violates third-party rights, including copyright and personal rights.
- Do not use the Service to distribute malware, spam or harmful content.
8. AI features
Content generated by AI (coach, prioritization, task breakdown, suggestions) is advisory only and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or other decisions with significant consequences. Content sent to AI features may be transmitted to third-party language-model providers in order to generate responses — details are described in the Privacy Policy. You use AI features at your own responsibility.
9. Limits
During the beta, daily AI request limits apply to keep access fair for all testers. Limits may be changed without prior notice if required for technical or cost reasons.
10. User Content and intellectual property
You retain all rights to your Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display and back up your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service. The "TaskAura" brand, logo, app code, interface and texts and graphics prepared by the provider are our property and are protected by law.
11. Personal data
We process Users' personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the Privacy Policy available at https://taskaura.app/privacy. By using the Service you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy.
12. Complaints
Complaints regarding the Service can be submitted to hello@taskaura.app. In the complaint please include: the Account login or email, the date and description of the issue and the expected resolution. We respond within 14 days of receiving the complaint.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, loss of data or indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. We recommend regular data exports from Settings. The above limitations do not exclude or limit consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your Account. Before deletion we recommend exporting your data. We reserve the right to suspend or remove an Account in case of a material breach of these Terms, after prior notice to the User, unless immediate action is necessary for security or legal reasons.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may change the Terms for important reasons (legal changes, new features, security). We will notify Users by email or in-app message at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new version. During the transition period the User may delete the Account without consequences.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Disputes are resolved by the court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
17. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to force majeure. Our failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of that right in the future.
